Long Skinny Vintage 18k gold Virola Link Necklace - 23.75 inch length
A beautiful and useful find! I have for you a long skinny vintage Virola link chain in 18k gold. Virola chains are a rare find and I grab them whenever I can! This one is an excellent longer length and is well suited to wear solo or with pendants.
The Virola link style is made from pairs of interlocking links that have been joined and pressed opposite one another, to create the look of staggered C-links along the length of the chain.
Necklace measures 23.75 inches long with a width of 1.8mm. Piece closes with a secure spring clasp. Marks for gold purity and the triple crown for Sweden. Condition is excellent with normal age related wear. Dark areas are just reflections from the room.

I saw it. I fell in love with it. I had to have it. With a short text and a phone call to Jill, it became mine. I truly did not think that it would be possible for me to wear this beautiful piece as the original rolo-link chain that the stone hung from was only 16.5 inches in length. I needed at least a 20 inch chain. Undaunted, Jill told me that she would look for a longer chain in the same rolo-link style but with a lobster clasp that I prefer. Not long after I received a video showcasing the longer chain that Jill had found to replace the original shorter one. Jill’s video contained dialogue with close-ups of the chain as she dangled it over and through her fingers. After giving her my enthusiastic approval, I had the pendant on the new longer chain within a day or two, and it was perfect.
