Midcentury Paperclip Link Necklace in 18k gold - 18.75 inch length - Swedish vintage
A cable link necklace with wonderful alternating trombone links (aka paperclip links) for interest.
Made entirely of 18K gold, she is an excellent length at 18.75 inches. Links measure approximately 1.7mm wide.
Necklace was made in Sweden in the mid 20th century by goldsmith Heribert Engelbert. Chain has Swedish marks for maker, gold purity, and location. Good vintage condition with normal age related wear. Chain closes with a well working spring clasp.

I saw it. I fell in love with it. I had to have it. With a short text and a phone call to Jill, it became mine. I truly did not think that it would be possible for me to wear this beautiful piece as the original rolo-link chain that the stone hung from was only 16.5 inches in length. I needed at least a 20 inch chain. Undaunted, Jill told me that she would look for a longer chain in the same rolo-link style but with a lobster clasp that I prefer. Not long after I received a video showcasing the longer chain that Jill had found to replace the original shorter one. Jill’s video contained dialogue with close-ups of the chain as she dangled it over and through her fingers. After giving her my enthusiastic approval, I had the pendant on the new longer chain within a day or two, and it was perfect. I wore my beautiful quartz pendant for the first time on Mother’s Day and received several compliments on it. Thank you, Jill, for making my wish come true. ❤️
