Beautiful vintage 18K gold, 16.5 inch length, 5 grams, graduated double-link necklace.
This link type is called a double-link (also bismarck link). Pairs of links run side by side - like two curb chains delicately soldered, link by link, to form a double length of links. This link style was popular in the 1960s.
Links are gradually smaller and larger to elegantly transition around your neck. Imagine making these individual links to perfectly create that gradation.
I love the elegant movement of this gold link style, it languidly follows the form of your collarbone.
