1915 Antique Chain Link Brooch Pin 18k Gold - 1.25 inch length

During the American women's suffrage movement, jewelry that included chain links, were symbolic of the movement. 

This piece was made in 1915 Sweden, so it's not clear if that was the intent. 

In Sweden, conditional women's suffrage was achieved during the Age of Liberty between 1718 and 1772. But it was not until 1919 that equality was realized, where women's votes were valued the same as men's.

Regardless, a set of links is symbolic of many things: connection, resilience, restraint, strength. What do they mean to you?
