Lovely vintage 18K gold, 17.4 inch length, 9.25 grams, graduated width double-link necklace. Handmade in Köping Sweden, dated 1965.
This link type is called a double-link - pairs of links run side by side - like two curb chains delicately soldered, link by link, to form a double length of links. This creates a smooth strong chain that will last for generations.
I love the elegant movement of this gold link style, it languidly follows the form of your collarbone.
