Antique 18k Gold Articulated Pocket Watch Key Pendant
This key would have been used to wind a pocket watch. I think it's such a pretty little detailed object, I say wear it as a pendant!
Key measures just over 1 inch long and is made of 18k gold. Collar articulates around the post and even has a small loop you can use to attach a jump ring, etc. Piece has legible marks for gold purity and worn marks for year and location. Dates to early Victorian era Sweden 1831-1854.
Very good antique condition with normal age related wear.

The pendant may have come earlier, but I retrieved it yesterday evening …. and I L O V E it! Here you can see it on the rounded box chain which complements the rounded triangle of the pendant. How wonderful is that! It’s like “They were meant to go together.” Because they are both 18 K gold, the color-match is perfect. Once again, Jill, we hit the bull’s eye dead center. What more can I say but, once again, “Thank you.” You’re absolutely the best.
