Exquisite! Vintage 18 Karat White Gold Virola Chain Necklace - 19.3 inch length
This link style is rare and difficult to find, especially in white gold. Especially in such incredible condition.
Virola link necklace measures 19.3 inches long by 1.9 mm wide and was hand crafted in Sweden in the early to mid 20th century.
This cool tone vintage solid 18k white gold is unlike contemporary white gold which is typically rhodium plated for a bright white look. This old gold piece is intrinsically a cool silvery color. It has no rhodium plating which means the piece does not need to be re-plated over time!
Chain movement is wonderfully silky smooth perfection. Excellent vintage condition with normal age related wear. Swedish hallmarks. Secure and well working hidden spring clasp.
