Italian vintage 18k gold box link necklace by Balestra - 17 inch length
Gold chain necklace by the classic maker Balestra, founded in 1882. Box link (aka venetian link) chain is solid 18k gold, measuring 17 inches long by 0.85 mm wide. Spring clasp is well working and sturdy. Hallmarked for maker, location and gold purity.
Chain is in excellent vintage condition with normal age related wear. A chic chain to wear stacked, or with a pendant, or solo.
Works well with any of the pendants in my shop here.

The pendant may have come earlier, but I retrieved it yesterday evening …. and I L O V E it! Here you can see it on the rounded box chain which complements the rounded triangle of the pendant. How wonderful is that! It’s like “They were meant to go together.” Because they are both 18 K gold, the color-match is perfect. Once again, Jill, we hit the bull’s eye dead center. What more can I say but, once again, “Thank you.” You’re absolutely the best.
