RARE GRADUATED Width Vintage Biker Link Necklace 14k Solid Gold - 17.2 inch length
A rare one for you! I look at biker link chains all day every day and I NEVER see them as graduated link necklaces. Occasionally I'll find an antique watch chain that is graduated in width, but very very seldom a necklace.
The thing I love about graduated links is that they follow the natural form of our bodies, widening and tapering (think of the way a forearm narrows to a wrist). They elegantly match our bodies.
This special chain was made in Denmark 1946-1975 by maker Edvin Einar & C Larsen. Necklace weighs an excellent 26.72 grams and measures 17.2 inches long by 3.5-5.7 mm wide. Necklace is made of solid 14k gold links and closes with a hidden box clasp and double safety loops for a secure closure. Full Danish hallmarks for maker and gold purity.
Excellent vintage condition with normal age related wear.

The weight of these chains is incredible, I haven’t felt solid gold like this since the 80’s, what a great memory.
