Obviously I'm a textile lover as I've devoted my design business to bending, sewing and musing over leather textiles. Solid gold forged into slinky chains is another chapter in my oohing and aahing over beautiful pliable yet strong constructions.

I have for you an elegant and everyday wearable graduated curb chain necklace. She is made in solid 18k gold - with that rich color that only old gold has. A BEAUTY for the true vintage lovers.

A classic curb chain that has been elevated as a GRADUATED width curb chain. The goldsmith expertly sized the links to be gradually larger at the center and smaller near the clasp.

A graduated chain mimics the body, the way shapes occur in nature. Think about a branch on a tree - it is wider near the trunk and narrower where the leaves attach. Tapering like this makes a piece feel natural and organic on the body.

Curb chain is made of solid 18k gold and measures 17.25 inches long with a width 2.3 to 5 mm. Necklace weighs 12.3g and has a secure spring clasp closure. Jump ring has hallmarks for Sweden and gold purity.
