1971 Rey Urban Modernist Sterling Silver and Quartz Cocktail Ring - Size 5

A large and weighty cocktail ring made of sleek sterling silver with faceted quartz stone mounted atop. Precise angles and clean faces make this piece feel clean and futuristic. The oblong finger opening is wider at the base for a comfortable fit.

Ring was made in 1971 by Rey Urban in Stockholm Sweden. Band thickness measures 4.7mm, fits ring size 5 and weighs 9g total. Faceted quartz stone measures 10.2mm in diameter. Marked with full Swedish hallmarks.

Modernist designer and Master Silversmith, Rey Urban, started his company in 1950 and exhibited his work internationally throughout his lifetime. He is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm, among other museums.
