Finnish vintage 18k gold ring with tiny brilliant cut diamond - size 5
Pretty and petite 18k gold ring with diamond. The geometric shank is a buttery yellow gold with a tiny white gold four petal flower as the centerpiece. She is a size 5 and measures 1.5mm wide. Perfect size to wear on a smaller finger. Marked for maker, gold purity, and country.
The four petal flower may be a tormentil. A Finnish superstition is that if you wear tormentils in your flower wreath on the night of the summer solstice, you can turn yourself invisible. Could come in handy?

I saw it. I fell in love with it. I had to have it. With a short text and a phone call to Jill, it became mine. I truly did not think that it would be possible for me to wear this beautiful piece as the original rolo-link chain that the stone hung from was only 16.5 inches in length. I needed at least a 20 inch chain. Undaunted, Jill told me that she would look for a longer chain in the same rolo-link style but with a lobster clasp that I prefer. Not long after I received a video showcasing the longer chain that Jill had found to replace the original shorter one. Jill’s video contained dialogue with close-ups of the chain as she dangled it over and through her fingers. After giving her my enthusiastic approval, I had the pendant on the new longer chain within a day or two, and it was perfect. I wore my beautiful quartz pendant for the first time on Mother’s Day and received several compliments on it. Thank you, Jill, for making my wish come true. ❤️
