UNIQUE Chunky Sterling Silver with Alternating Gilt Links - Taxco Link Necklace - 24 inch length
An amazing handmade sterling silver chain with a geometric profile with alternating gilt links. An exterior layer of gold gilded on every other link creates a warm/cool pattern that goes with EVERYTHING.
Chain was made in Taxco, Mexico, well known for expert silversmithing in the mid 20th century. Necklace weighs a hefty 62.6 grams which feels so good to wear. She is 24 inches long by 6.4mm wide and closes with a secure handmade clasp.
Piece has marks for maker, location and silver purity. I have polished the piece gently to preserve some patina.

I had been watching this fancy link bracelet for a while and am so glad it stuck around for me. A gift for my daughter who loves it.
I saw it. I fell in love with it. I had to have it. With a short text and a phone call to Jill, it became mine. I truly did not think that it would be possible for me to wear this beautiful piece as the original rolo-link chain that the stone hung from was only 16.5 inches in length. I needed at least a 20 inch chain. Undaunted, Jill told me that she would look for a longer chain in the same rolo-link style but with a lobster clasp that I prefer. Not long after I received a video showcasing the longer chain that Jill had found to replace the original shorter one. Jill’s video contained dialogue with close-ups of the chain as she dangled it over and through her fingers. After giving her my enthusiastic approval, I had the pendant on the new longer chain within a day or two, and it was perfect. I wore my beautiful quartz pendant for the first time on Mother’s Day and received several compliments on it. Thank you, Jill, for making my wish come true. ❤️
