Antique Danish 18k gold anchor link bracelet by Bernhard Hertz
I’m so pleased with this perfect, anchor chain.
Each link is solid and handmade with love by Danish goldsmith Bernhard Hertz who was active around the turn of the century, 1893-1937. The quality of the piece is just magnificent. The chain also has a lovely rich color you can see for yourself.
The gold is solid 18K gold which is rare for Danish pieces, they are most often 14k gold. The bracelet measures 7 5/8 inches (19 cm) long. The bracelet weighs 7.9g.
The condition is excellent with normal signs of age, and clasp is in perfect working condition with security eight.

I saw it. I fell in love with it. I had to have it. With a short text and a phone call to Jill, it became mine. I truly did not think that it would be possible for me to wear this beautiful piece as the original rolo-link chain that the stone hung from was only 16.5 inches in length. I needed at least a 20 inch chain. Undaunted, Jill told me that she would look for a longer chain in the same rolo-link style but with a lobster clasp that I prefer. Not long after I received a video showcasing the longer chain that Jill had found to replace the original shorter one. Jill’s video contained dialogue with close-ups of the chain as she dangled it over and through her fingers. After giving her my enthusiastic approval, I had the pendant on the new longer chain within a day or two, and it was perfect. I wore my beautiful quartz pendant for the first time on Mother’s Day and received several compliments on it. Thank you, Jill, for making my wish come true. ❤️
