Supple Snakey Brick Link Necklace in 14k gold - Midcentury era Danish - 17.3 inch length
Gold textiles are my obsession and this one REALLY tickles my fancy.
I have for you a very special Danish midcentury gold link. This one is made in the same fashion as a brick link chain, however the links are curved bricks of gold rather than straight ones. When constructed it creates a supple snake or scale effect. GORGEOUSNESS! The movement is really beautiful (see video).
Necklace is made of 22.1g of solid 14k gold links and measures 17.3 inches in length with a graduated width up to 4.7mm in center. She has a well working hidden box clasp with safety wire.
Full Danish hallmarks for maker and gold fineness.
The craftsmanship is beautiful and the chain lays gorgeously on the neck. This piece is in excellent vintage condition with normal age related wear.

The weight of these chains is incredible, I haven’t felt solid gold like this since the 80’s, what a great memory.
