Phenomenal! 1928 Detailed Weighty 18k gold medallion pendant with blue enamel - by WA Bolin
Made by the Swedish royal court jeweler, WA Bolin (aka House of Bolin), this is one special pendant!
The House of Bolin, Swedish court jewelers date back to the 1890s. House of Bolin were competitors of world renowned brand Faberge, at that time.
Beautifully crafted, this undulating oval form is decorated in relief with seven 5 petaled flowers in a wreath tied with bow. At the center we see script initials surrounded by a perfect oval of blue enamel. A sturdy bail holds the heavy pendant, mounted with a dimensional gold bow.
The reverse side of this weighty piece is engraved and has full Swedish marks for maker, gold purity, location, and year. Swedish engraving translation: “Ina Berggren, for 21 years of faithful service 19 10 / 12 30"
Pendant measures approximately 1.75 inches long (44mm x 23mm) and weighs a hefty 14.93g! This piece is exceptional in excellent vintage condition.

The pendant may have come earlier, but I retrieved it yesterday evening …. and I L O V E it! Here you can see it on the rounded box chain which complements the rounded triangle of the pendant. How wonderful is that! It’s like “They were meant to go together.” Because they are both 18 K gold, the color-match is perfect. Once again, Jill, we hit the bull’s eye dead center. What more can I say but, once again, “Thank you.” You’re absolutely the best.
