1974 Sterling Silver Droplet Pendant by Stigbert for Waldemar Johnson Atelier - 20 inch necklace
Atelier Stigbert is one of the best known producers of Swedish Modernist and midcentury jewelry. Stigbert was founded by the goldsmith Stig Engelbert in the early 1940s. This oversized weighty silver pendant was designed by STIGBERT for Waldemar Jonsson Atelier.
Large silver pendant measures 3.5” long x 1.6” wide and comes with a 20" long sterling silver chain. Faceted rock crystal measures 15.6mm diameter. Pendant has Swedish stamps for maker, year, location and silver purity.

I saw it. I fell in love with it. I had to have it. With a short text and a phone call to Jill, it became mine. I truly did not think that it would be possible for me to wear this beautiful piece as the original rolo-link chain that the stone hung from was only 16.5 inches in length. I needed at least a 20 inch chain. Undaunted, Jill told me that she would look for a longer chain in the same rolo-link style but with a lobster clasp that I prefer. Not long after I received a video showcasing the longer chain that Jill had found to replace the original shorter one. Jill’s video contained dialogue with close-ups of the chain as she dangled it over and through her fingers. After giving her my enthusiastic approval, I had the pendant on the new longer chain within a day or two, and it was perfect. I wore my beautiful quartz pendant for the first time on Mother’s Day and received several compliments on it. Thank you, Jill, for making my wish come true. ❤️
