18k Yellow Gold Pendant with Älvdalen Porphyry Cabochon
A unique 18 karat yellow gold pendant featuring a square cabochon of rare Älvdalen porphyry, a Swedish origin stone known for its deep, mineral-rich character and historic use in Scandinavian decorative arts.
Cabochon cut stone is set in a clean geometric mount with double prongs at the corners, giving the piece a structured, architectural feel while allowing the natural patterning of the stone to stand out.
The pendant measures 14.97 mm at its widest point with a total drop length of 28.66 mm. It has a solid, well-balanced weight of 4.65 grams.
Pendant is in excellent vintage condition with normal age related wear.
