1936 Swedish Vintage 18k gold safety pin brooch or chain extender - 1.8” length

I love having bits and bobs like this in my jewelry box - they open up so many styling options for the rest of the collection.

You can use a safety pin like this to connect two chains or to give a bit of extra length to a solo chain. You can stack up your charms and wear it as a brooch or a bit of flair to your stack. You can use it to keep your scarf in place or tack your tie. As you play with it you'll figure out even more uses that I haven't imagined.

This particular pin is unique in that the pointed end swivels more than 180 degrees open. Typically a pin like this would open about 30 degrees. I'm not sure what this means for extra functionality but it's a neat detail for the gizmo nerds like me lol.

Pin is made of solid 18k gold, signed for maker NK who was active in Stockholm from 1913-1988. Piece is dated 1936 and has full hallmarks for maker, year, location, gold purity. She is in excellent condition with normal age related wear.
