1961 X-link variation 18k gold bracelet - Vintage Swedish - 7 inch length

Gold link jewelry is gold textile as jewelry - well that's how I think about my particular fascination with gold link. Obviously I'm a textile lover as I've devoted my design business to bending, sewing and musing over leather textiles. Solid gold forged into slinky chains is another chapter in my oohing and aahing over beautiful pliable yet strong constructions.

1961 X-link variation 18k gold bracelet - Vintage Swedish - 7 inch length

A chunky gold textile for you!!
Beautiful handmade craftsmanship in buttery solid 18K gold link bracelet that has real presence on your wrist! 

Handmade in 1961 by maker BFA who was active 1956-1976 in Stockholm, Sweden. The link type is called x-link or sometimes a star link. The individually made links create little x’s where they are soldered together. This variation has tiny cross bars as part of the pattern. 

This solid 18k gold bracelet weighs 18.7 grams and measures 7 inches (17.5cm) long. A nice chunky width link at 8mm. Color is rich stunning old gold!!

Bracelet has a well working box clasp with double security eights.
