1979 Swedish Vintage Gold ID Tag Pendant 18k Gold - 0.9 inch
Sweden issued civilian metal ID tags, often shortly after birth, from about 1960 to the 1990s, officially ending in 2010. These were part of the cold war era imagination of "total defense".
Made in Göteborg, Sweden, this vintage 18k gold pendant weighs 2.09 grams and measures 24 mm (0.94 inch) long by 17 mm (0.67 inch) wide, with a thickness of 0.38 mm.
Hallmarked with the Swedish three crowns, 18k gold mark, E10 date code for 1979, and Göteborg town mark.
Excellent vintage condition with normal age-related wear.
