Vintage Swedish Alnöite Stone Pendant on Sterling Silver Oval link chain - 15 inch length

Circular bezel set Alnöite stone pendant with 15 inch sterling silver oval link chain. Alnöite was named for the Swedish island Alnö where it was first documented in 1887. It is a rare, dark-colored igneous rock that belongs to the lamprophyre family. It forms from deep mantle-derived alkaline magmas.

Piece has Swedish stamps and is in excellent vintage condition with normal age related wear.
