18k Gold Antique Virola Link Watch Chain Front Clasp Necklace - 16.4 inch length
A special find for sure! This virola link chain has the added bonus of watch chain clasps - a swivel dog clip and oversized spring clasp. Wear her at standard length or attach an extender for a longer look. And of course, add your charms!
The Virola link style is made from pairs of interlocking links that have been joined and pressed opposite one another, to create the look of staggered C-links along the length of the chain.
Necklace measures 16.4 inches long with a width of 2mm. Piece is made entirely of 18k solid gold and has marks for gold purity and the triple crown for Sweden.
Two links lay perpendicular to the flat chain. They are original (not flawed or problematic) and may have had charms or dongles attached at an earlier time. See last 2 photos.
Condition is excellent with normal age related wear.

I saw it. I fell in love with it. I had to have it. With a short text and a phone call to Jill, it became mine. I truly did not think that it would be possible for me to wear this beautiful piece as the original rolo-link chain that the stone hung from was only 16.5 inches in length. I needed at least a 20 inch chain. Undaunted, Jill told me that she would look for a longer chain in the same rolo-link style but with a lobster clasp that I prefer.
