I have an antique treasure to share, an excellent 18k gold triple strand chain with large bolt clasp and dog clip fasteners!
This was likely a one of a kind piece made for someone who wanted to convert a longer chain into something more unique. This piece is super versatile - she can be worn as a bracelet or as a beautiful necklace extender.
Antique fetter link chain measures 1.6mm wide with slightly staggered lengths to give visual interest. Triangular charm dates to the 1950s/1960s and has marks for Sweden. Red cabochon is likely garnet.
I've shown you a few ways of my favorite ways to wear it. I’ve combined it with another chain to create a totally unique necklace. But you can attach it to virtually any chain or chains.
Both the bolt clasp and dog clip can accommodate your own charms - so have fun styling your best neck messes with her.
Piece could easily be shortened by your local jeweler as well!

I saw it. I fell in love with it. I had to have it. With a short text and a phone call to Jill, it became mine. I truly did not think that it would be possible for me to wear this beautiful piece as the original rolo-link chain that the stone hung from was only 16.5 inches in length. I needed at least a 20 inch chain. Undaunted, Jill told me that she would look for a longer chain in the same rolo-link style but with a lobster clasp that I prefer. Not long after I received a video showcasing the longer chain that Jill had found to replace the original shorter one. Jill’s video contained dialogue with close-ups of the chain as she dangled it over and through her fingers. After giving her my enthusiastic approval, I had the pendant on the new longer chain within a day or two, and it was perfect.
