Dutch Antique Silver Awl with Screw Cover - Pendant - 3.5 inch length
A pendant with an added function - the long textured body unscrews to reveal a sharp pointed sewing awl! The bail doubles as a grip for one's finger in order to use the tool to pierce holes for stitching or embroidery work.
A very cool piece I sourced on my recent travels in the Netherlands.
This large silver pendant measures 3.5 inches overall drop, weighs 7.25 grams and has Dutch stamps dating it to 1814-1905. Condition is excellent with normal age-related wear.

I had been watching this fancy link bracelet for a while and am so glad it stuck around for me. A gift for my daughter who loves it.
I saw it. I fell in love with it. I had to have it. With a short text and a phone call to Jill, it became mine. I truly did not think that it would be possible for me to wear this beautiful piece as the original rolo-link chain that the stone hung from was only 16.5 inches in length. I needed at least a 20 inch chain. Undaunted, Jill told me that she would look for a longer chain in the same rolo-link style but with a lobster clasp that I prefer. Not long after I received a video showcasing the longer chain that Jill had found to replace the original shorter one. Jill’s video contained dialogue with close-ups of the chain as she dangled it over and through her fingers. After giving her my enthusiastic approval, I had the pendant on the new longer chain within a day or two, and it was perfect. I wore my beautiful quartz pendant for the first time on Mother’s Day and received several compliments on it. Thank you, Jill, for making my wish come true. ❤️
