1966 Sterling silver Modernist GeWe Rod Link necklace with Blue Lapis Lazuli stone - 18.9 inch length
I probably shouldn't share this, but my nickname for this piece is "connect four". LOL
A stunning solid sterling silver ladder pendant is set with a large gum drop shaped deep blue lapis lazuli stone. Pendant measures 4 inches long and is designed into the overall bar link necklace form which measures 18.9 inches in length. Overall weight is 29.3 grams.
Dated 1966, Malmo, Sweden by maker GEWE. Piece has full Swedish stamps for maker, date, location and silver purity. Condition is excellent with normal age related wear.

I saw it. I fell in love with it. I had to have it. With a short text and a phone call to Jill, it became mine. I truly did not think that it would be possible for me to wear this beautiful piece as the original rolo-link chain that the stone hung from was only 16.5 inches in length. I needed at least a 20 inch chain. Undaunted, Jill told me that she would look for a longer chain in the same rolo-link style but with a lobster clasp that I prefer. Not long after I received a video showcasing the longer chain that Jill had found to replace the original shorter one. Jill’s video contained dialogue with close-ups of the chain as she dangled it over and through her fingers. After giving her my enthusiastic approval, I had the pendant on the new longer chain within a day or two, and it was perfect. I wore my beautiful quartz pendant for the first time on Mother’s Day and received several compliments on it. Thank you, Jill, for making my wish come true. ❤️
