Gold link jewelry is gold textile as jewelry - well that's how I think about my particular fascination with gold link. Obviously I'm a textile lover as I've devoted my design business to bending, sewing and musing over leather textiles. Solid gold forged into slinky chains is another chapter in my oohing and aahing over beautiful pliable yet strong constructions.

Rare and Exceptional! 14k Danish Gold link necklace - 18.5 inch length
If you are like me, a fan of unique gold link styles, you'll love this one. The elusive Y-link!
Today I'm releasing a piece from my personal collection - I can't keep them all and I know this one will get more wear in someone else's jewelry box.
This link style is made of stacked barsof gold with alternating diagonal links. To me they look like stacked geometric hearts in a chain. The warm gold color contrasts with crisp link delineation and high polished faces for a balanced look and feel.
Necklace is made of 27.5g of solid 14k gold links and measures 18.5 inches in length with links 5 mm wide. Necklace has a well working hidden box clasp with double safeties.
This piece was made by the Danish goldsmith HCH who was active 1957-1972. Full Danish hallmarks for maker and gold purity.
The craftsmanship is beautiful and the chain drapes gorgeously on the body. This piece is in excellent vintage condition with normal age related wear.

The weight of these chains is incredible, I haven’t felt solid gold like this since the 80’s, what a great memory.
