A stunning gold watch chain made of solid 18k wonderfully buttery yellow old gold. The color is magnificent and the weight is chunky!
Link style is called a double fetter or hayseed link and is very durable and strong. Obviously as the chain has been in operation since the 1800s!
This item is considered part of “Spanish cultural heritage” by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. To bring it to the US, I had to apply for a special permit that took months to process. It was quite a thing to get this piece home. I’m not the only one who sees this as a special piece, ha!
Chain is 16 inches long by 3.8 mm wide and weighs a very nice 31.8 grams of solid 18k gold. This chain can be worn as a necklace and why not attach some of your charms to the large spring clasp or dog clip. Condition is excellent with normal age related wear.

The pendant may have come earlier, but I retrieved it yesterday evening …. and I L O V E it! Here you can see it on the rounded box chain which complements the rounded triangle of the pendant. How wonderful is that! It’s like “They were meant to go together.” Because they are both 18 K gold, the color-match is perfect. Once again, Jill, we hit the bull’s eye dead center.
