A special collaborative project created with my friend and talented jeweler, Jessica Davies. Jessica came upon a small amount of these incredible vintage German black hearts. We thought they would make wonderful stackable charms or pendants for our vintage gold chains. Aren't they chic!?
Each heart is edged with a halo of 24k yellow gold over platinum. For each piece, Jessica goldsmiths a solid 18k gold bail by hand in her Sonoma California studio.

I love the metaphor of a black heart.
A black heart can be symbolic of a twisted sensibility, dark humor, lover of morbidity.
Also a symbol for Black love and Black Lives Matter.
What does it mean for you?
This German vintage opaque glass pendant is a perfectly symmetrical heart measuring 15mm wide x 20mm overall, with smooth flat faces and a chubby edge, haloed with 24k gold over platinum. Solid 18k gold bail is handcrafted by Jessica Davies in Sonoma, California.
