Vintage 18k gold Virola Link Necklace - Graduated width - 17.4 inch length
I have for you a graduated width Virola link chain. Virola chains are a rare find and I buy them whenever I can.
The Virola link style is made from pairs of interlocking links that have been joined and pressed opposite one another, to create the look of staggered C-shapes along the length of the chain. Their movement is supple and smooth.
Necklace measures 17.3 inches long with a graduated width of 1.6mm - 3.2mm. Chain closes with a secure spring clasp. Swedish stamps present but are illegible due to normal wear. Overall condition is excellent.
